Do you feel helpless when your patient is looking at you for support through contractions?

Are you in a constant battle with yourself for offering pharmacological solutions too early because you don’t know how to help?

Do you wish you had easy things to teach your patient and their support person to do while you are out of the room so they can cope and ultimately progress?

This is the 5-hour course that you need to feel confident in helping your patients learn how to cope in labor with and without an epidural. This class is a mix of lectures and hands-on in a hospital room to give you realistic and practice tips. Learn the art of breath, instincts, positions, touch, how to adjust, mood and encouragement. Sarah teaches a strategic process as well as the “why” behind how to help your patients cope in labor.

This class is one month of the Bundle Birth Nurse Mentorship program and you may hear the instructors mention the program. If you want to know more about that program, click here. It includes a custom 38-page workbook to guide and facilitate learning.

I do not feel like I was given a lot of instruction on coping with labor during my orientation at work and this month really helped me feel more confident and able to better help my patients with coping!

Andrea

I loved the easy to remember acronym for coping with labor. During my orientation I feel like I got a lot of the skills required to become an L&D nurse like cervical exams, titrating pit, etc. etc. but not a lot of help in the way of helping patients cope. This module was exactly what I needed to teach me how to better help my patients. And it definitely helped! I was able to help a mama get the unmedicated delivery she desired using the things I learned during coping!

Annie

I loved this class! Very helpful and entertaining. I feel like I have so many new tools to use.
